The Google CFO Patrick Pichette decided to retire from the company within six months and decided to facilitate finding out the best alternative.

Patrick Pichette, the Google’s Chief Financial Officer is going to be retired from his position and declared by means of SEC filing about his retirement. Since June 2008, Patrick has been with the company. He is only conforming the company about his retirement, but has not given the exact date of retirement. However, within several months he will aid the company to search a better replacement.

Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Google Patrick Pichette gives the information about his intended retirement to the company on 4 March 2015. Actually is not determined the exact date of his retirement. However, he said that, within the next six months he would help the company to find out a new CFO and make sure an arranged transition according to the expectation of the company.


The person named Patrick Pichette is Google’s chief financial officer.  In the telecommunication sector, he has about 20 years of experience in financial operations and management. He has also 7 years of experience at Bell Canada and here he joined as the executive vice president of planning and performance management in 2001. He was taken different executive positions during the moment at Bell Canada. For instance, he was as the CFO until 2002 to 2013 and was active to manage the most widespread communications network in Canada and the new changes in national IP-based infrastructure. At McKinsey & Company, Patrick was a partner before the joining of Bell Canada where he was as the guide member of McKinsey’s North American Telecom performs. In Canadian Telecommunications Company named Call-Net Enterprises Inc., he was as the vice president and chief financial officer. In Trudeau Foundation and Bombardier Inc., he is the board member and acts as an advisor to engineers without limitations, Canada. From the Université du Québec à Montréal, Patrick completed his bachelor degree in business administration. In addition, from Oxford University, he accomplished his master’s degree in philosophy, politics and economics. In addition, he was as a Rhodes Scholar in the university.
